Finally got to take on a ZX10R.

First I'm using this thread to figure out how to post pictures. So, first a generic pic. OK, HOT DOG IT WORKED!!!
I can now do pictures!!!! Hooray! Yippee!

So this is a pic of the beast after some fast riding and having a GREAT time with great weather. She is dirty due to lots of rain here in Tampa, but once it dries out for awhile, I will clean her up. Anyway, after 11,500 miles and over 2 years of riding, I finally met a guy on I-75 riding a ZX10R who was almost as big as me. That helped even out the odds of me getting whipped. We did some top gear roll ons and I easily walked him. This is from about 70 to 110mph. I realize if we kept going he would have reeled me in and passed me like I was sitting still. The King is a flying brick and I push a TON OF AIR over 130 to 140 mph. So that is the extent of my only racing in 11,500 miles. Not much but its all I have! The King made the .Org proud. Plus I have taller gearing which made it harder for the King. I'm happy. I always wondered how it would fair against a real bike. Long live the King! My comfy but quick ride!

Got a friend on here that ran his B-King around 185 in the standing mile at Texas, so I don't know about you being overtaken.

I am against racing and testing your limits on public roads, and you live in FL so I hope you know you will fighting a felony charge if you get charged with racing not just just some speeding or reckless driving issue... That aside, you raced from 70 to 110 mph ???

70-110 top gear roll-ons??? That's not wreckless or racing IMHO-just an average e-way pass to me

I'd enjoy the vid more if they were on airport runway somewhere, I always end up responding to the epic fails of these back yard film makers. So I get to see more fails than successes and it really does suck. :down:

Yup, I know that top gear roll ons are wimpy at 70 to 110. But we were not getting crazy. Plus you run into traffic fairly quick at 110. I do it A LOT when I'm by myself, but happened to have a bike to play with this time. I run WFO in 6th gear so much in the 60 to 120 range. Probably 20 times each time I ride. I have a three hour course I ride called the Isle of Tampa. My version of Isle of Man and run much slower.......... top speed of 120 if I even hit that. I use the massive torque to accelerate in 6th, with downshifting once in awhile to 5th or 4th for warp speed. I went through 8 speed traps in the last 4 days. Mostly Florida Highway patrol. Luckily, I made it through all of them by having traffic slow me down as they slowed for the visible cops that I couldn't see.

I have to slow down but I'm an andrenaline junky. I just can't ride without twisting that throttle WFO.

If your an adrenaline junky then get out of 6th gear on these 60-120mph sprints.
