Made it out to the track friday night. THat shinko 008 slick hooked like crazy glue, I was launching at 8000 rpm on the 2step and staying on the bar all the way through 1st gear, 153-155 60"s I"m sold on the shinko:laugh:

What air pressure? I saw some guys using the newer Michelin Pilot Power last week and torn between the two. The Pilot was still bogging down a Busa and a 1000 with anything under 22 psi! I run my U-soft at 12psi and would love to run anything with that much air. The shinko is cheaper though!

I was running 14-15psi only bogged one time. motorcyclesuperstore.com has them for $123.00 shipped to your door. I"m sold on them

The pilot power one is a beast,It cost sooo much though.A guy I know has a 08 busa with a big motor and the bottle on it,the bike sits at 66 inchs,he left on the bottle and on the street at that and stood straight up. It is simply amazing:bowdown:

like i said, motorcyclesuperstore.com has them for$121.99 shipped to your door. sorry but my loyalty is with my wallet.

Thanks for the info.............I am already in the low 1.5 range but I want to bust into the 1.4s. I am going to try this slick but I need to be able to run it at more than 15psi to justify being cheap, lol. I run a U-soft now and I am at 12-14psi for a 1.5 60ft. I want the Power One but I will run a 008 for 100 bucks cheaper if I can add some more air and hook.

I am in the 1.4 range now! Went to track last night with my 16-45t and I am there now. It took playing with different gearing and really working on that clutch hand. I pin the throttle and use that clutch like a gas pedal. I was finishing off that U-soft to mount my new slick from Spencer cycles.

I run a 008 slick. I'm 306lbs and get consistant 1.50 60ft times. I'm trying more gear, I added a drag seat and will try spraying it in the 1st 60ft and see what happens. Shooting for more like 1.40 or better, I may be asking for too much but I'm giving it a shot.:beerchug:

usofts are great for an inexpensive tire... i have been running them for a few years now and i have never had a problem with them. i usually run 12 lbs... but have ocassionally run 10 lbs if the track was poor condition... 1.50 60 fts
