Hey guys, I finally got it today. My day started at 6:00 a.m. Falcon Fool and I left our homes in southeast KY at about 6:30 this morning on our way to Competition Accessories to pick up my new 2000 Blue Busa. Yesterday the salesman told me that they didn't have any available but they would today, so I just took his word for it and made the 5 1/2 hour trip. As we got closer I got worried that maybe he was pulling a bait and switch on me just to get me there. As we pulled into the parking lot there was a tractor-trailor unloading, and there sat 3 blue Busa's. It took most of the day to get everything done and it was almost midnight by the time I got home, but it was well worth it. When I got to Competition Accessories there had been 4 Busa's, one of them was already sold, and when I left there was only 1 left. It's no wonder I had a hard time getting one. Any way, I'm glad I can finally post here as a Busa owner and I look forward to talking with you all. And thanks to Falcon Fool for making a long trip with me last Saturday and this Saturday. Thanks to everyone for their input on whether to buy a '99 or a 2000 and maybe I can change my username now.

Okay guys, just got my first full day of riding in on my new Busa. The only thought left in my mind is that this bike is awesome. Although I did keep it under 5500 RPM's the I could tell it had great smooth power and the handling was great also. I traded a '98 GSX-R 750 for the Busa and although I really liked my Gixxer I don't regret trading at all. I got 230 miles today and hope to be able to get enough miles before the weekend to do my first oil change. Some of my friends were pushing me to get an R1, and I know it's a great bike but I know I've made the right decision. This bike kicks a**!!!!!

Hey minibusa:
Thanks for a super weekend! Now you need to change that Username to Magnabusa. You sure looked swift today on Billies Branch Mountain. (our local mini-equivalent of Deal's Gap)... Hangin off and hangin on!!! Hey, I also noticed that you still lack a 1/4 inch on the sides having your tires scrubbed in. Next weekend!!

Sounds good, I'll be more than ready to show some of the Honda faithful what that "big heavy bike" as they call it can do.
