I ran a 9.15 @150 off the trailer with a 1.44 60 changed the map and went a 9.04 @ 152.40 1.39 60 backed that up with a 9.06 1.42 60 @152.20. Let it cool down for a few and went back out and went 8.95

Here is the slip.... All passes are foot shifting, and with clutch, no lockup or slider...

1.4301 60'
3.7785 330'
5.7493 1/8
123.59 mph
8.953 1/4
151.82 1/4 mph

That was my goal to run 8's with the bike and still being stock bore. My best time previous this was a 9.36@149 and a 1.52 60' at 60". I picked up 4 tenths with the cams and extensions, and there is still more left in it.

I went with the webs 395/378 and extended it 4 more inches and now im sitting at 64" So whoever says the cams wont work on a small bore motor, I picked up 3 tenths with them, you just need some compression Cool .......... The extensions picked me up about a tenth in 60'.

My best 330 of the day was a 3.71
best 1/8 mi 5.713
best 60 of the day is a 1.39
Best mph of day is 152.40

This is with a 16t front and a 42rear and a 180/55 Pilot race tire, I am planning on going up to a 44t rear the next time out.

The bike dynoed 186.5 before the cams, and i havent had a chance to dyno it since getting it back together. According to my logs I am way lean above 9k and i tried fattening it up and i got a fuel injection light??? It flashed F1 could this be the injectors maxing out, and Me needing to raise the fuel pressure???

Dang dude! My goal is to crack the 5 second barrier in the 1/8th. I'm sitting on a best of 6.565 as of now so I have a ways to go.

Pipe
16/43 gearing
Airbox mod
3 inch drop
Brock's golden clutch hub

That's all I've done to it. I'm trying to get as much out of it without buying anymore HP (aside from the pipe of course).

Those are nice times for a normaly aspirated engine. The cams should give you about 10% more power if they are dialed in correctly; Congratulations! p.s. what area of the head got most of the attention. Was it the valve pockets?

Congrat's man those are great times....

However, I think the biggest gain was from your wheelbase extensions. My experience has been that .1 in the 60' is worth about .2 on the big end so your cams helped but only maybe a 1/10th or so. BUT....it is making more power. That's clear based on your MPH gain of 2-3 even with the better 60' but that could also be the cooler weather improving that even more...

I forget what is Busa normal stance? 64 is how much over stock swing?

It could be maxing them depending on your fuel numbers but the injectors might just need cleaning . Alot of todays pump gas is punk .

I am running table numbers of 24 on up to 27 or so w/o setting the light . Fuel pressure is not bumped either but I know the injectors are clean .

Something to think about anyway when a guy can't get the a/f ratio he needs .

mod list please!!!
Wiseco 13:1 pistons
intake cam on ex
self ported head
sumo exhaust
Let's clarify this .

He's using WebCams Intake 395/378 Exhaust

Did you have to deepen the piston valve reliefs on the exhaust side ?
Mountain you are correct i am using the 395/378 now guess i was thinking of another thread when they asked what mods were when i was at 186hp...

Yep i cut them an additional 25 thou.
