Got my bike back on the road this week! Everything is going good so far. Added slidders, a new (to this bike) right side fairing. Did the kick stand mod, the buell pegs and of course the undertail, with a hugger. Relocated the plate to the swing arm and added a carbon fiber chain guard. I will add a K&N air filter and a power commander next week. THe bike hat its state vehicle inspection today and passed.

Sweet. I'd vote against the K&N though, stock flows better.....

I also vote for stock filter, save your cash.

Bike looks really good. Tail looks nice and clean. What undertail did you use?

Nice job!!

I got the undertail from NYCPARTS on E-Bay. It didn't fit perfect at first, but after some work I made it fit. "Got a bigger hammer".
It was only later I read that some of the guys at this site had problems with this company.
Also thanks for the advise but I already have the K&N filter, so I guess I am stuck with it. Strange both my car and truck have shown marked improvements with a K&N filter.

I still haven't seen any numbers that makes BMC highly superior to the K&N. I use K&N in the Busa, Suburban, and Chevy Pickup. I have noticed and seen marked improvement over OEM filters. Even the so-called "Green Filter" they have out now says that it outperforms both the K&N and BMC. Go figure...
