Just wanted to check in, bought her yesterday. My last bike was a katana 600 I had 3 yrs ago, It just doesnt compare.

I must respectfully disagree.  If you will kindly compare our pictures you will see that because my background is blurrier my Blue/Gray is faster than your black!

Welcome... I remember that first day smile. Don't worry it does not go away for a long time. 2 years and I still get it everytime I put my leg over. Get some gear brother, jacket and gloves at the minimum.
