First mods

I just bought an 04' special edition. I want to start the mods going but I can't decide where to start first. Power or looks like lowering and strecthing. If you think power is where I should start, what first. I also don't like the limiter is there anyway to take it off.

i also bought a red 04 and the only thing i have done is the timming retarder to bypass the 186 mph restriction

are you talking "rev" limiter or "top speed" limiter.

don't know of a way for the rev limiter besides an aftermarket ecu. You can get rid of the top speed limiter by getting a $0.15 resistor.

If you own a Busa, the kickstand mod is the first thing to do (cost: about 30 minutes of time). If you're a big guy, the windscreen is a must (cost: $60-$120 depending on model). If you need even more low-end grunt, the 16T sprocket is cheap (cost: about $25).

yep but you want a switchable one.

Hit 186(true)mph then wory about it.  Not a joke.  get yourslf aquainted with the bike and its speeds before you try to break records.
Other mods for firtst mods that have been mentioned are much better. Screen, Kickstand, pipes etc.

I am new to the Busa world but I would say go cosmetic first. There is alot of power to be tamed there before you need to worry about more. If I had the LE, I would go dark smoke double bubble windscreen, smoke tinted blinkers, and smoke tinted tail light. Just make it look different then total stock. I think smoking everything would really accentuate the black frame. That's my pesonal opinion. Oh yeah.....CONGRATS ON THE BEST BIKE ON THE PLANET!!!!!!!!
