Verizon gave me a Storm the day they came out...I still can't type as fast on it as I can on my Bold. Plus, I'm disappointed that it doesn't have WiFi... Other disappointments to the Storm, too...seems sluggish... I think I'll stick with the Bold.

There is a new software update that should make it faster. I haven't tried it yet though. Will when I get home.

my bb storm is in the mail. should be in on the 11th. my current pda (Samsung i760) has wifi and i never use it.

have you tried to teather it to a laptop? they said u can do it but i wouder if it's a pain in the butt.

I use WiFi on my Bold all the time...

As for tethering, I tether my Bold all the time, but it's with AT&T. I've heard that VZW forces you to pay for the tethering plan, but it can be done...

We sell tons of the storms at BBY, the biggest issue is the touch screen is not as calibrated as the other touch screens, that is expected being a 1st gen BB! other than that its a great phone, I don't recommend that ZAGGS screen unless you know how to put it on without messing up the phone.

yea with verizon it was $5 or $10 extra but i never have to look for a hot spot.

i was thinking about getting the usb thingy and a regular cell phone. but i stuck with a pda so i don't have to carry the laptop on bike trips.
