Flash tune data link or bench ECU?

So I'm thinking about letting my moron flag fly and try fukin with my ECU myself... It's probably not a great idea since I can't figure out the difference between the two products flash tune is offering for the busa. There a "data link" and a "bench" model. Anyone tell me what the difference is between them?

I know... I know... Leave it alone... Send it to mr site sponsor and he will do it. Buuuuut I wanna do it myself! /End tantrum

Seriously though, my main goal here is to remove the fuel cut off when I let off the gas to get rid of that hard engine brake.

Bench model is where you pull the ecu from the bike and take it to a bench with a 12-14volt power supply and play with the ecu on the bench.
The other is done insitu with the ecu left in the bike.

I removed the fuel cut off as I got tired of the GF head butting me everytime I rolled off the throttle. Make s a huge difference for me.

I would go with the bench model that way u can possibly do another bike if u know anyone that wants to play with their ecu.

So your after woolich instead of ecu editor then?
Yes! But maybe No? Mostly because I don't know a single thing about this stuff
I only know what I've read on flash tunes website. I haven't looked into other tuning software... Because I don't know what exists lol I started off just looking for a way to ease up on the engine braking when I let off the throttle. That rabbit hole of info lead me to flash tunes website and I recall their stuff basically all said "FT ECU License to allow unlimited flashes for a single ecu"

Have a look at boost by smith website he has the interfaces for using ecu editor i believe and it would make more sense to use the free software of your only wanting to do the basic flipping of switches in the ecu.
