For motorcycle and topgun fans

197 claimed hp, 101 torque, 575 pounds wet. I guess fat chicks need love too, that's why I have my Hayabusas. My rain bike with stock pistons made 200 rwhp at 112 ft lbs of torque. As much as I love Kawasakis, I would opt for a ZX14 first, which we've tuned to 210 rear wheel and over 120 ft pounds. No need to spend well over 20K for this boat anchor . . .

You are not wrong, infact my brother is considering this purchase decision as he is replacing his ZX12. I send him ads for used Hayabusas all the time, because that is what makes sense to me. He however has money to spare and is a bit of a Kawi fan boy. So I might have an opportunity to ride an H2SX a lot this summer. Now if only I had a place as reputable as Powerhouse up here to show him true induction power!

well.... u could ship a bike for surprisingly little... and with the 10K saved.... u would be AMAZED at the power u could make.... and if ure in Canada... RCCturbos is based out of Canada.... u could have the godfather himself build it...... Richard at RCC.

I still dont see what all the fuss is about the h2. I mean yea its cool in a lot of ways but not 25k cool. I mean get a busa, get an rcc stage 1 turbo and waive goodbye to the h2 when you roll past it head to head. the only thing that would make it slower is all the money you would have to put in a tank bag that you still saved. imo. Am I wrong on this??????

1000 percent correct..... BUT the h2 fanboys say that the h2 has alllllll the new electronic gizmos on it...… ull hear a lot of that.... but HP for HP... a turbo busa cant be touched....

I don't get the hype either-a stock H2 and Busa are not that different in power...everyone always quotes numbers from the H2R which is not a street bike

while the hp my be similar it is torque you need to consider. I have not seen a torque curve for the Kawi however I would expect the Supercharged bike would have more torque from lower rpm. and that is what moves you down the road That said having see one last fall the fit and finish were flawless the price tag is for too rich for my blood. But them again. He did not buy it for me to enjoy but for him Thats why there is chocolate and strawberry

I like the technology of a supercharger but the H2 is not my cup of tea, I'm not a big fan of it's look.

I do believe it will be the future of hyper bikes. It will be a serious challenge for any other motorcycle company to be competitive without going that route. I'd imagine all the other major manufacturers are looking into this tech and possibly finding a way to make it more main stream.

As the H2R is a track only bike, where is it being used? I don't believe I have seen it being part of any race team other than a run at the TT on it's own.

Yes the H2R is just a big f*ck you to the other manufacturers and not useful (but I am sure a lot of fun).
As for the design language it is interesting, like the Yamaha MT-10 there is a lot going on. It’s like jazz music the more I experience it the more I understand it and it grows on you.

It does look better with a full fairing I guess, very angular which isn't my favorite-not the worst looking bike out there.

The MT10 looks like the GSX series, a sport bike without it's clothes on.

Let's face it - Suzuki was the King of Ugly for many years, in fact, the first Busa I ever saw struck me a omg UGLY. Now I have four of them! It's like waking up next to your wife a year after you are married and wanting to chew your arm off, except everything else is so good. It's nice to know Kawasaki is making
some ugly bikes too! At least I'll know what it is in my rear view mirror.

Funny because it is true

to be honest I liked the look of the Busa from the first time I saw one Form following function as design should. I Would have bought on then (19 tears ago) but I did not have the cash and so the ZRX it was. Having finally gotten a Busa after all these years I am glad I did not get it then. As a young lad of a mere 46 I would haven totally unprepared for the kind of power it was producing. My ZRX made 96 to the wheel all its stock motored life and was dynode several times to prove it to myself Back then I had never owned a street bike with so much power. I was aghast. OF course that did not let long :). But now I am older if no wiser but have a healthy respect for not dying and think I am prepared to enjoy a Busa for the reasons I bought it this time. I have always wanted one. I Love the shape. I Love the colour. I Love the monstrous torque There is nothing I would change other than sending Frank my ECU And maybe a turbo in a year or two. and a pipe and better suspension and maybe cast iron rotors. That should just about do it. Giggle / snort :)
