FOULING PLUGS AT START UP ON MY 08

WELL I HAVE ABOUT 400 MILES ON MY 08. WELL IT STARTED A COUPLE WEEKS AGO WHEN I PUT SOME MR9 IN IT BEFORE GOING TO TRACK. IT ACTS LIKE A SPARK PLUG IS FOULED AND TAKES A FEW HITS ON THE STARTER TO START IT.I HAVE A PCIII AND MULTI FUNCTON HUB AND NEVER HAD PROBLEMS TILL THEN.(I INSTALLED THE MULTI FUNCTION HUB) ALSO SEEMS TO HAVE A LITTLE TICK IN THE HEAD. MAYBE IT ALWAYS DID BUT I NOTICE IT NOW. ANYWAY IT TAKES A LITTLE TIME FOR THE PLUG TO CLEAR AND RUN PROPERLY. IS IT A BAD PLUG? BY THE WAY WENT TO TRACK LAST NIGHT AND IT RUN FASTER THAN EVER. I DRAIN THE MR9 AND RUN PUMP GAS AND AGAIN THIS MORNING THE PLUG SEEMED FOULED(HARD TO START). WOULD A FACTORY WARRANT COVER A LITTLE MODIFIED BIKE? PIPE,PC, AIRSHIFTER AND A PAIRVALVE MOD.
 
Good question about the warranty.....someone will chime in. Unfortunately, I think no....hopefully I'm wrong.

Did you leave the MR9 in the tank overnight...? I've heard of this gumming up the engine when left in the tank over time. This may be what you are experiencing or maybe something else. I would leave pump gas in it for a while and see if it clears up...

Otherwise, try changing your plugs but it's way to early for that IMO...

was your map for MR9? did you leave it in the bike overnight?
 
I HAD THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM WITH MY BIKE COMPLETYLY STOCK AT 80 MILES AND AGAIN AT 500, THE FIRST TIME I TOOK THE BIKE IN FLATOUT TOLD ME THAT I WAS LETTING THE BIKE WARM UP TOO LONG, SO THEY CHARGED ME 75 TO PUT PLUGS IN IT BECAUSE THE WARRANTY DOESNT COVER MAINTENCE ITEMS(BUNCH OF CRAP) THEN WHEN IT HAPPENED AGAIN I TOOK IT BACK GOT INTO AN ARGUMENT WITH THEM ABOUT HOW I WAS LETTING IT "WARM UP" AND AFTER SOME DIAG TIME THEY HAD TO REMAP THE BIKE, HAPPENED SHORTLY AFTER THAT AND I TOOK IT TO A DIFFERENT DEALER AND THEY PUT A COOLER PLUG IN IT AND NOW ALL IS GOOD. OHH AFTER THE FIRST VISIT I DIDNT PAY ANYTHING FOR THEIR MISTAKES.
 
WELL THE TICK SEEMS TO BE FROM FLOATED VALVE. WHAT THE HELL. IT ONLY HIT THE REVLIMITER ONCE WHEN THE AUTOSHIFT DIDNT WORK. BELEIVE IT SPIT A SHIM.TICK HAS GOTTEN LOUDER. 400 MILES
 
MR9 WAS THE CULPRIT. IT WAS LIKE HONEY IN THE THROTTLE BODIES. I WILL NEVER USE IT AGAIN. DEALERSHIP SOLD ME SOME OLD FUEL CLAIMING IT WAS FRESH.
