I think that's a reasonable price to start negotiating from for an '02. Hopefully you can check it out in person before you decide to buy it.

Yeah, what sage said. I probably wouldn't pay more than $6800 for it. But then again, the bike would have to be pristine for me to pay that.

It's not a bad price, if pristine condition, but you can do better. Can definitely get a somewhat modded (full exhaust, airbox mod, TRE,) bike for that same price.

I would definitely try and get that price knocked down a little. The bigger thing would be to make sure you get it checked out completely!
