i've done a fair amount of looking online and haven't found anything that doesn't require a fair amount of work....am i missing something?  any help would be appreciated.

there are no cut sliders out there. I have a set along with two other board members that I know of. One said he was gonna start making them himself and had a few orders but I lost track of the thread. do a search for no cut sliders and you can read all about them. If I'm not mistaken I even posted pics as I was installing them. Good luck to ya and ride safe

I bought a pair of polished aluminum sliders from mototeck.com and had the dealer install them when I bought the bike. They did it for free to be nice since i bought the bike from them, but they told me that it would have cost me $60 (1 hour labor) to do it. That was the easiest route because I did not feel like drilling into my fender myself. If they screw it up, they buy, if I screw it up, I buy.

OK, I said fender, big deal! This is my first bike and I have only had it for three weeks at that! I am usually talking about my 9 second mustang. I meant fairing for all of you picky people. I am new to kind of new to this board. You should take a look at all of the members who have been here a while. You are lucky to understand their posts sometimes their spelling is so bad! Again, big deal, I meant fairing and you know it!

I ordered sliders from a local stealership, they'll be here tomorrow. I couldn't find ANY in all the catalogues I searched through where you could just bolt them on and not cut the fairing. I don't want to cut my fairing but it's worth having sliders IMO...

thanks for the info...i haven't really figured out the board totally myself (like how to search).....just popping on with a few free minutes here and there......i appreciate the input!
