frame swap

???? are the frames the same and can be swapped out between the gen 1 2 3 ??
talking bolt up with little or no mods to do it

Gen1 and Gen2 are the same except,
The Gen1 has the center stand mount and the Gen2 does not.
The Gen2 has 4 small holes in the frame for fairing push-pins to fit into, that the Gen1 does not.
Otherwise, they are the same.
The Gen3 supposedly uses the same frame as well(no center stand mount), but I have no personal experience with it to say if there are any variences in the Gen3 frame or not.

that sounds encouraging not enough difference to matter gen 1 to2
now if someone has the answer about the gen 3

i had both my gen 2 and 3 busas side by side and they looked extremely similar. i took the fairing side fairings off. lots of parts can swap between the 2. i used gen 2 lowering components on my gen 3.

what else differs
if i remember corectely
is the swing arm - one of them (gen1 vs 2) is wider in its "head" than the other - u can´t swap em easily - either u have to use spacers or have to smaller the head .
means also : the frame wideness for he swing arm differs from gen1 to gen2 .

those minor difference that are not visual are the ones to get you.
when the factory makes changes that might be only .050" cause problems with swapping things around
