OK....so I am replacing my low beam and I cant figure out how that stupid metal clip goes back in. I'm talking about the piece that holds the bulb in and goes between the two screws.

Tell me someone has a pic of how the damn thing goes back in.

That's the kind of thing I would ask you.

hey joe....I'm at work right now. Is it something that you could explain without me in front of the bike?

It's easer to remove the two upper inner panels around the instrument cluser, remove the instrument cluster and reach right in. Yea I know thats what you dont want to do.

Now. When you reach up to the clip. push up on the clip pin until hit hits the clip hole. You have to push UPWARD twards then back against the nose section then down. So up over and down in. If that helps

I'm not laughing at you, but I'm mainly laughing at myself because when I changed out my bulbs a few months back, I had the same exact problem.  I was so fuggin' frustrated.  Yes, it's an odd piece, but just keep this in mind when re-installing it... "It only goes in one way!!"  Trust me, that's the approach I took.  There isn't but two or three different combinations to position it where it will fit, and only ONE will work.  Trust me, you'll know when it's right.
