Yes that is correct. Changed out my rear sprocket the other day and had only 11 teeth one 1 side of the sprocket.
Those of you who remember me posting about 6 missing teeth, well this was the result of a loose chain. I remember several times getting on it and hearing the chain slip like it jumped teeth, or in this case, demolished them.
The teeth that were left where in bad shape, about to give way; as they were filed down 'width' wize. If I continued to drive like I do, (1st, 2nd power wheelies and mad excelaration) I probably had a couple hundred miles before something happened.
I have a new 42 sprocket on now, in steel as in opposite to the aluminum take off.
I know I come up with the weirdest and worst chain/sprocket problems but I still post them just incase there are some other nuts like myself out there this could help.
