Front axle nut size.....

What size it the axle nut on these? I searched the forum but fount varying information from the older Gen2 and Gen1.

Gen1 and Gen2 are 36mm
Most Suzuki's including the Gsxr's are.
If the Gen3 axle nut is the same part# on

Thanks I didnt have one large enough at home for the front. I have SAE in larger sizes but up to 24mm in metric. Guess Ill get the kit from Harborfreight that has it in it.

I got a sigle 30mm at Autozone so i didnt have to buy a whole set

I made one with a short bolt and 2 nuts welded together. The head of the bolt fits the axel and the 2 welded nuts act as the place to apply torque. with a wrench.

they differ
1. outside (external hexagon)
2. inside (allen-like)

the type (1 or 2) at gen1 variies
at gen2 its a plug (external hexagon)

gen3 ? sorry no clue.
but i guess like gen2 (the forks are seemingly the same)
