Front Brake Pads

How do you remove the pads and do you have to remove the calipers ? ( Gen II )

Sorry pushed for time and I could not quickly find anything. Please don't post up download manual blah, blah, blah

Alright, just add your thoughts then. Admins might want to put this in Green

Remove two 12mm bolts from caliper and gently remove caliper. Carefully using a BFSD separate the pads, pushing the pistons back into the caliper. Remove two allen pins used as guides for the pads and remove the old pads. Now place the wear indicators from the old pads to the new ones. Reinstall pads, Reinstall guide allen pins and torque to spec. Carefully reinstall caliper over rotor and slide caliper over guides. Reinstall two 12mm bolts and torque to spec. Now I finger tight everything and then gently tighten one and then the other eventually until time to do final torque.

Finally, grab that brake lever ( I have the sexy Pazzo shorties black ) and gently pump those brakes up , before going off and through the first stop sign in the hood

Now for bedding. The pads say 250 urban miles.
