I can't believe that you don't know what bleeding the brakes is? I can understand if your not mechanically inclined, but to not even know what it is or know the basics of whats involved and why amazes me!Especially by someone riding a busa!! Whats up with you?? Thats real basic s*hit. Do you know how to put air in your tires? Since your not familiar with brake bleeding, don't and I repeat don't do it yourself! You may have air in your lines causing your problems you mentioned and it will have to be Bled out!Capish!!
Well after hearing all the stories of dumping
with disk lock on, it finally happened to me. Hopefully, there're only minor scratches.
My problem is thatI start to loose the front
brake power. My level always stay at two as the factory setting, now need to back up to one so I won't hurt my other fingers. I checked and brake fluid level is OK and there's no leaking. What really bother me is that it always loose at cold and get better later.
JR, a bent disc would have a pulse only feel to it. I left my disc lock on and forgot to remove it before taking off one night, you are correct though, only fix is to replace it,but 99busa is complaining about brake fade.
Sounds like you ride your brakes hard. You might have boild the fluid and need to bleed the brakes. Also check the pads for glazing. I found if you run the fronts to hard they glaze and fade fast and it takes time to remove the glaze. You need to buy good after market set and replace the crap thats on the front. Ride safe, Oklahoma Bob
