Front Brake Switch

Hello fellow busy riders, I'm having an issue with my 06 busy
My front light brake switch has been changed out and it's not working properly. It turns the brake light off, it doesn't brighten it like it's supposed to. Does anyone here know what I can do to remedy this issue? BTW my rear half is functioning properly!

Is it not lighting the brake light at all? First thing I recommend is to take the switch off and hose it out thoroughly with a good "plastic safe" contact cleaner. I had one that I thought was bad and after cleaning it out worked perfect. I recommend Maxima contact cleaner, but any electrical contact cleaner will do. You should then be able to wire it up in this state (uninstalled) and verify operation. If it is working then just reinstall and be sure it is properly seated.
