front running light mod question

a little while back someone posted up how to mod the front turn signals into running lights. i lost that post . what i need to know is what wire did they use to hook up the running lights. any one remember ?

thanks for the help. i searched on here for this, as i allways do before asking questions, just searched under running lights, parking lights. and the search engine was slow slow last night. again thanks for that link.
there was another post on here where someone took the rear switchs from a old light and used them. but this answers the question

couldn't you just use a dual purpose bulb?

yes , you can use the stock 1157 .
