go to Home depot or Lowes and get a bolt with that size head and 2 nuts and a lock washer and that will work. Thats how my broke a** does it.

Use a spark plug socket, I think it's the one that fits the 13/16th spark plug, or you could get an all thread rod connector from a hardware store, I don't remember the size...

Yup. I *think* it's an 11/16" bolt that you need. The head will fit right into the axle.

I got a couple of nuts and welded them to the bolt (no comments from the gallery!).

I think the total cost was about $2 bux!

Thats what I use too, works like a champ!

I bought the "real thing" on ebay for around $24.00. I couldn't find the correct size bolts at my home Depot.

A 5/8 bolt has the proper size head on it to fit into the front axle. The head measures out to be 15/16 acorss. I went to Lowe's and bought a 2" 5/8 bolt and nut for $1.30 and had friend weld the nut onto the bolt. Best investment and money saver ever.

If you do a search there was a thread that covered this before. But here is a pic on what I use.
