frozen cluster when starting the bike

I have a 2009 hayabusa and I was wondering if I could get some help. so when i start the engine the entire cluster freezes and fuel injection light is on, but the bike is running. The only thing that fixes the problem is disconnecting the battery and this problem arises every couple of months. Does anyone have an idea of what is causing this? thank you

Sounds like it could be a short of some kind if it is only happening every couple of months.

No other issues? Runs perfect?
