not sure if i want to 100% do this yet so just feeling the waters. 08 blu/blk busa with 62xx miles. all stock except for shortened stock exhaust and debeavered. scratched right fairing from a very slow speed (about 10mph) lay down will be replaced with new OEM piece b4 sale.

really toying with the idea of selling or trading it in on an m109r.

for the type of riding i mostly did on the busa since i got it i may as well go with a cruiser. i don't want to give up riding altogether but i find myself being much more calm while riding since getting married and having a family now.

if i can get $9000 from someone who can use all the busa has to offer i would more than likely pull the trigger.

At 9K you should sell it pretty easy either here or on CL. Ive left the Busa befoe and came back.. I also dont ride balls out all the time, but once you have this type of performance, its hard to give it up.... Best of luck.

Don't want to burst your bubble,but I just traded in my '03 for a "used" '08 w/ only 300 miles on it,and Yoshimura cf slip ons installed . I paid $8995 for the '08 . I did no negotiation,they were happy to sell it . I overheard the receptionist telling the owner I was the only buyer in 3 days . That price was before I ever mentioned I had a trade . Mind you I lucked out,three days before,the bike was listed for $9400 . Good luck selling if you choose to .

Yeah, but I won't mention what I got mine for. I am sorry you have to sell it. My '08 is my first large bike and I could not picture it not being in my garage every day.

well... the 109 in question was already spoken for by some guy who was coming up all the way from texas to get it. but just seeing it in person and sitting on it made up my mind for me, i'm getting one.

sooo.... the busa is officially for sale. read first thread for details on the bike. title in hand. new fairing on order to replace scratched right side so she will be all minty for her new owner.

Going the other way, from a M109R to a Busa....I want the orange and black 08 Busa though...

Going the other way, from a M109R to a Busa....I want the orange and black 08 Busa though...Probably gonna list this bad boy for sale around March. It was fun but I miss being on a Busa. Sold my 04 to get this and ready for an 08.

That is a fair price but it's hard to find buyers right now. I had my 08 Busa stolen and couldn't live with out it. I sold my Harley to buy another 08 Busa (orange and black) and didn't get what I should of for the Harley. Economy and people out of work is bad and going to get worse. Good luck with the sale and the M109 is a cool bike.
