Fuel Guage?!

I have a 2008 Hayabusa, purchased the bike with maybe quarter tank of gas, filled up the other day, put 40 miles onto the bike and the guage is stuck on FULL.

Is this a normal issue? Will it move later?

Previous owner said it works fine but it seems sketchy...

Mine doesn't move off of full for the first hour of riding after a fill up. By the time the needle is down to 1/2 tank, it's correct.

lol. you will ride about 60 miles or so before it moves off the full line. Its all good

The only real complaint I have on my Gen II. They redesigned the tank and did a crappy job on the fuel gauge. It will start moving down shortly and when you hit the fuel light you'll still have a couple gallons. The Gen I tracked much better.
