ok try this, connect the old pump, see if it fires up. u dont need to put everything back together just the wires of the old pump. to see if the connection is good if that works somethin may be wrong with the inline pump.
check your fuse., std 10 amp will not run some pumps for long , 15 is needed
and bridge the dealer plug to see what codes ,may make it easier too see whats wrong
I put the pump straight on the battery and it runs but if I conect it on to the wires at the plug nothing happen does the fuel gage sender unit need to be conected Posted via Mobile Device
Kill switch on right handle bar not on, in gear with side stand switch on, the fact the FI light is on says you have something on the bike not turning on the fuel pump relay. Something as simple as your kill switch,
