Funny & Sad

Today I rode with the Blue Knights along with the Legion Riders escorting an 911 truck to their post (they were having a car show)

(I know without a pic it sucks, but anyway) I saw a Suzuki scooter today it had 650 CC's, was pearl white, and had Hayabusa decals on it, and when I looked at the word (in the sticker) "Hayabusa" it said HALFaBUSA.

Thought it was pretty funny. I'm waiting for my Pop to E-Mail me the pictures.

I have a question about the Sad part ?

Than on the way home my Father wanted to take a back road home, that is known for flooding during high tide, so I told him we could give it a shot. Well, we came to one spot where there was some water in the road, and just on the other side of the water was a rider down and a couple people with him (from his club). While turning around a helicopter was landing in the road. My question is....When you see someone that went down with 2-3 people already with them, were we wrong to turn around, and leave ? We asked if they had help coming and they said yes (30 seconds later we saw the helicopter) so we left. I didn't want to seem like a rubber necker just being nosey. What is proper edicate for seeing a rider down ?

Thanks

You asked if they were ok or needed anything. They said no. You did your part. I wouldn't think anything bad about you if I was in the downed bikers situation and you shouldn't down yourself for not staying even though they didn't need help. You did fine

Yeah, you asked, your Karma is covered.

And strange that the only people on the scene were fellow riders and a life flight came in. Unless one of the fellow riders was an EMT or something and knew how bad it was and advised 911.

all that could be done was being done seems to me. more people just causes more confusion and problems. kinda like to many spoons in the soup kind of thing
