Garmin E-Trex GPS

Howdy ya'll. I managed to get my hands on the GPS unit like the one pictured below, but can't figure out where and how to mount it on my bike. Any suggestions?

I've got the same one as well. I have a tank bag with a map pouch (clear plastic). I put it in there. It's not going to bounce out and it's protected from the elements.

This a unit I bought with my Etrex about 3 years ago. I was able to place a mushroom shaped plug on the back of it that went into the stem. It worked really well until I took it off for cleaning and rolled over the base of it with an office chair wheel and cracked the base of it. i have seen similar setups on Ebay that go into the stem hole, but haven't got around to doing it yet.

just get a stem stand and some 3m professional velcro ... seems to work for most anything I mount on it

One thing to consider is what else you might put on there.... I've got one of the "single" mount ones... the smaller of the two and it works great for the XM, MP3 or whatever but its a little small for say my GPS, so I will probably upgrade to the wider one sometime soon. So just make sure you consider what you *could* mount up there when you buy it, otherwise you might be making a double investment
