Gas breather overflow valve fix

The right side fairing was blistering and peeling. I took it to the dealership and they said they will fix it and swap out the fairing for a new one. This is what they did to the bike. I'm wondering if this is right?

I had the dealership here in Omaha fix mine as well and they ran it down under the bike. That is just dangerous there, too much heat on that hose with gas leaking in it and BOOM.

That is INSANE!

I just extended mine( one hose was long enough) and ran it thru one of the holes in the lower fairing (wing) spoiler. That hose should be no where near an exhaust pipe.
