Gas tank prop

I read somewhere that there is a prop for the gas tank on the bike somewhere, where is it? If there isn't one what do you use to hold it up?

you should see it in there...it clips onto the side behind the tools.

I get too lazy to dig out the prop rod and just a small section of 1 x 4 wood.

I usually get real lazy and just take the tank.....less scratches that way too and less hassle

can someone take a picture of the thing in its proper location, so I can check to see if I have one. I bought my bike used with out a tool kit and Im betting the prop is not there either, thanks

It mounts in your tail section and it is a rod about a foot long and 1/4" in diameter

Just kind of an idea and a fyi thing: I am very often too lazy to dig it out of the hump (oh, it is soo much work

) so I just wen tto Home Depot and got a rod for a dollar and bent it too work. I trust mine more than the factory.
