Hi Brad,

Look, ive still got problems with the running at the low end, but this time its at 2000 & 2500 rpm (The 3000+ is ok now). Ive tried leaning it right out and that made it worse, tried going to zeros and then going richer and i cant get it right.
Its only at 2% and 5% , so its those darned table 3 settings.
Any advice?, or shall i come up again?
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Brad better make that two mines the same its got a real rough spot at about 2500 rpm if you fall into it in top it runs bloody awful Tangram seems to have the same problem
I will try the original 007 map table 3 on the map you wrote and see if it clears up cant say I noticed it being there before with 007 nick or 007 standard both are the same on this table.

I was thinking long and hard about this last night.

it has to be something that is either altering the fuelling duration or ignition timing under 4000rpm

As Gasabusa rightly pointed out to me there are only 2 items that do this

#1 TPS
#2 IAPS

It must be one of these. Did it do it before you installed the PCII??

Nuts ;)

Numb,

Gasa adjusted the TP sensor cos it was a bit out.

Re the PC2, that hasnt made the problems any worse, the engine went naff below 3500 when i installed the akra.

Do u reckon its worth playing with the settings on table 2 TP at 2000 & 2500?

Mike

I haven't got anything on my bike. Totally stock, no PCII (I wouldn't know where to start with it, never in touched one!!)

I think the aftermarket exhaust makes the problem worse, and the PCII goes some way to masking the problem, but can't solve it.

We need to get this licked. I'm getting under the tank tonight anyway, will check all hoses to IAPS no blockages, kinks etc and check it out.

Wil let you know how I get on

Nuts ;)

ha ha ha ha ha

I would love to DM, but got to go get my replacement Cam chain tensioner tomorrow morning, and we all know what happens if we drink the night before don't we??

(Santa Pod???? ha ha ha ha :) )

Hey Numb Nuts you coming down my way then I live in Bournemouth.
And yes it had the stuttttttter before I fitted Power Commander and the Akropovic pipe and before Air filter mods I have tried putting back to standard a few times to remind me how much extra power it makes and also to see if the problems will go away they dont but are a lot less noticable.
I think this problem is going to run and run some do it some dont seems the Black /Charcoal ones are the worst offenders. with it

hey brucie bonus

I reckon it is a blocked vacuum line. Thats what I'm gunning for after a lot of thinking last night. I'm checking tonight. Was in Southampton saturday, visiting Grandma (89 and witty as you like!!)

Going to Somerset probably week after bank holiday.....could make a detour through Bournemouth....nothing is too far by Busa!!

Nuts ;)
