Gel or tobin

What is the verdict. I have seen and really like the appearance of the Tobin seats ( Like BS Busas ), but also see the use and adds for the "gel" style seats. Has anyone tried both? Which are truly more comfortable?

I gave up my Gel set when I got my Tobin. THe Tobin is more comfortable, has a better cut and profile, especially for those who have smaller (shorter) legs.

Ive got over 23k miles logged onto my Gel seat. I dont regret one mile of use. I havent tried a tobin but I have heard nothing but great reviews.

I have a Tobin on my bike...My friend has a gel...Between the two I prefer the Tobin...I like the lower position and contour...The gel sits too high and does not match me very well...

I had not stopped to consider the seat height. I had heard that Tobin was lower profile.

I guess I will have to go that route.

my thing is im a big guy and wonder if ill fit well in the cut of the tobbin. i dont know of anyone here in miami so i could test one...::

For looks go with Tobin, for comfort go with Corbin.

I rode mine with a Suzuki gel seat for about a year and then went to Tobins - the Tobins are much better. And I'm heavy and blessed with an ample posterior; no problem, just ask Tobin for his "big guy" cut (the pad that goes across the rear of the seat is narrower).

I have both and love them both. I love the look of the tobin though.
