Gen 1 Clutch Difference?

So iam looking for a new clutch for my bike. The chassis is a 03 but I don't know the year of the motor or clutch that's in it. I bought a motor that had a 1397 kit installed. Iam looking to go to the track next weekend and want to have a new clutch to see if that my problem with the bike launching poorly. Iam looking at a stock suzuki clutch. But it says 04 to 07. Is there a difference with the plates and fibers from the earlier gen 1 motor? That's my question.
