Gen 1 Exhaust Cans

Since i got my Gen 1 there has been one thing letting it down, the exhaust cans.
I found one pair that looked good in the photos, but when they got here they were bad.
But last week i came across a pair for sale that did look like new. I paid just £60 delivered for them. And when they got here they were better than i thought. the only way i could of got better if any was buying new.
They are now fitted on the Gen1 and look great.

Indeed they look amazing. Well done
That's the first thing I did when I got my bike, replaced the exhausts, undertail and handlebar weights back to original.

When i bought mine, i fitted all the OEM parts back on it, even the brake hoses. When they get to this age, stock is best.
When was yours bought new. mine was bought on Friday the 5th March 1999 and registered on Monday the 8th for the road.

Fully agree.
According to the papers of my first owner, it was ordered in April 1999 and delivered in May 1999. First 1000km service in June 1999.
And last week it’s second service at 6500 km . And I can tell you that was a big one. The second recall on the CCT wasn’t even done
