Gen 1 & Gen 2 Rear Fairing

Hi all

I've had my 99, Gen 1 Busa for nearly a year & I can't believe how much I have taken to the bike!

The only grumble I have is the 'stuck on' rear indicators, which makes me feel sick every time I walk past the beast!!

I have had a look at various tail tidies for the bike, but I really like the look of the Gen 2 fairing with the indicators on the side.

Now before I commit to buying the fairing, I'm wondering if it is a straight swap, needs mod's, or would I need the rear subframe before this is possible? The wife is very much into her bikes, (as a passenger) so wouldn't be looking to make it into a single seater either!!

You will need to switch all tail items including both seats from a 08 and up, you will also need to switch out your lock set,rewire the tail lights, make a mount for the rectifier. I just finished switching my 2000 over to an 2008 took me about 1/2hr to make the switch very easy.

I'll make on that its very labour intensive & spin it out for the entire winter, (+ make sure there are beers in the shed)!!
