Gen 1 headers

Hi guys
I own a 2000 registered busa and am wondering if the headers from the 02-07 models would install straight to my 2000 model?
I would like to fit some M4 slip on’s but obviously
no good for the original 2000 headers but good for the 02-07 headers.

in general all gen1 headers fit at all busa ´99-´07

only difference ist the right conn. pipe - at ´99 + ´00 it is welded at the headers connection-box
at ´01 and later never more.
the left conn. pipe is a single piece and always attached and fastened with a clamp.

for slip on´s you need the special to the mufflers fitting conn. pipes both side .

the original mufflers are all bolt-on at all busa from ´99-´07 .

Thanks for that Michael I wanted to make sure before I purchased a set, owned the the bike 14 years but knew that one side was welded.
