Gen 1 headlights

Trying to upgrade my 05 headlights….. I hate that I can’t see 10 ft I’m front of me without my brights on.. any suggestions so I don’t spend $100 on a bulb and it doesn’t work?

The high beam is almost too bright. The reflection from signs is distracting.

I bought the adapter as well, but it had to be modified. I think a lot of people just use a rubber grommet.

You could also try aiming the OE light first. Mine were VERY low from the factory.

The Gen 1 headlights are so so.
The low beam from the factory is way low. (WAY LOW)
Pull off the screen, the top inner dash panels and the gauge cluster go for a ride at night (duh...) and adjust the low upwards.
