Gen 1 motor rebuild

Planing on building my gen 1 not sure what all I will need bit the setup I want is gen 2 crank with gen 2 top and an transmission I do have a mr.turbo kit old school that's going o. There so this will be a boost app build what compression should I be looking for and base plate sizing

Personally I'd keep all gen 2 stuff out of it, and just build the engine. No need to go bigger displacement with a turbo

I plan on using lower comp piston u think gen 1 crank will handle it

Hi. I went with a Marine 2mm crank had Corrillo make me custom rods and JE made me custom pistons are 10 to 1s. Head done with Inconel +1mm valves. Garrett G 42-1200c turbo + Nos.

No experience with this, but for a daily on street tires, keeping it simple makes a lot of sense to me.

Gen 1 cranks are handling 600+hp no issues. I'm running 400 on mine with the only thing done to it is the counterbalancer removed. But that's up to your builder.

Hi. 2 m stroked Marine crank Carrallo rods JE pistons. Head Gen 1 head clean up Vance & Hines intake calves V&H Inconel exhaust valves. Sell the Mr Turbo. Go woth RCC with intercooler. Or a supercharger. Done and a great bike.

When i start building my motor I'm looking for u this my first time ripping a big motor apart but I'm ready I read alot so I think it's just patience for me I've ripped smaller 4 stroke motors apart

You will pick up 15 or more hp with a gen 2 crank. More at higher boost levels.

Get a manual in case u get lost, make a plan before u remove any bolts and bag n tag everything. It’s your first time so u can’t be too careful. Beyond that, it’s fairly easy.
