Gen 1 to gen 2 fairing swap

So I’m swapping my gen 1 busa to gen 2 I did rear subframe got the plastic on no issue did the front stay got the headlight in no problem but now that I’m trying to put the side plastics in running into issues I have a picture to show , just curious do I just cut these and then it’ll bolt right up ? Any info is appreciated

You need those push-in pieces to hold the fairings on. The Gen2 ram air tubes have some, there is at least one on the oil pan, and then in the frame. I would encourage you to get the rubber grommets and use the push-ins. The Gen2 oil pan interchanges with the Gen1, just make sure it comes with the little sheet metal bracket that bolts to the pan. The Gen2 ram air tubes will interchange since you have the Gen2 front fairing stay.
