gen 2(2015) tank swap to gen 1(2000)

hi all,
firsr of all I live in south korea so not good at English, please understand

I got 2000 busa which engine fully overhauled
but has fuel system problems
so I gonna swap 2015 busa fuel tank and internal pump into my 00 busa.

here are my questions
1. do i need to change seat because i heard
the exterior shape of both tank little bit different

2. I will use 2015's tank and fuel hose ,
connect 2015's tank to 00's injector line
directly
of course i will delete 00's regulator and
pump
like picture below

2015 tank has internal regulator
so I think this way can be possible

I know it's much easier to find 00~07' tank
but so hard to find in my country

1st of all - the gen2 tank (´08-´18) and seat(s) usually doesn´t fit at a gen1 (´99-´07) frame without bigger changes at gen2 tank seat etc.

the ´00 gen1 as like as the ´99 has an external fuel pump - all others a tank-internal pump
