10 speeds with stock torque converter and basic bolt ons run mid to low 10 on decent tires. My last one was a 2013 but the 17s+ are crazy fast.Nice Mustang. Supercharging a stock engine looks like a good idea
My buddy just bought a '20 GT with performance package number 1 and he filled the MSRP sheet, it is a serious car....10 speeds with stock torque converter and basic bolt ons run mid to low 10 on decent tires. My last one was a 2013 but the 17s+ are crazy fast.
I pray he got the 10 speed auto. The manuals are trash! My buddy just bought a '20 GT with performance package number 1 and he filled the MSRP sheet, it is a serious car....
He did indeed get the auto...I pray he got the 10 speed auto. The manuals are trash!
Yup they are miles ahead of my 13. Proper rear suspension much nicer interiors I dont care for the exterior the 15's I think was the nicest looking. He will be happy with it! But it ain't no bike.He did indeed get the auto...
It's race red with black rims, window tint and all blacked out badging, etc....not bad for an old guy to own...
He has the active valve exhaust on it and when you go into track mode, it rattles the windows of the house..
Now it's in storage for the winter...
Nope, he has never ridden a bike and never will....Yup they are miles ahead of my 13. Proper rear suspension much nicer interiors I dont care for the exterior the 15's I think was the nicest looking. He will be happy with it! But it ain't no bike.
13-14 are identical but as a winter car? Man get a cheap truck or fwd car... I wouldn't even cut out eye holes for you, I'd wanna check out all the women for my self. My 91 Foxbody (1993 to be exact) was the last true Muscle car mustang uptill 2011 EXCEPT for the 03-04 Cobras all years inbetween the 5.0's were just blan and boring and extremely underpowered/overweight.Nope, he has never ridden a bike and never will....
He has the '20 and a '14 right now which he bought new and will use it as his winter car. Before that he had one of the first '05s brought into Canada, before that he had an '00 so he is a die hard Mustang guy and all of them have been red.
When he was posted in the US he was part of the Mustang club in Oklahoma and Colorado-he loves his Mustangs.
He has a paper bag with eye-holes cut out for me to wear when we go somewhere....
He has driven the '14 winter and summer ever since he got it....he puts a set of winter tires on it and some weight in the trunk and off he goes....he doesn't travel far in the winter anyway...13-14 are identical but as a winter car? Man people who buy cars/motorcycle/guns and never use them gets my goat! I was just kidding with the paper bag thing. He has driven the '14 winter and summer ever since he got it....he puts a set of winter tires on it and some weight in the trunk and off he goes....he doesn't travel far in the winter anyway...
The paper bag is a joke thing we have between us ever since we were in spec ops together....
I have another friend I've since lost touch with who collected Mustang Cobras...he has about 5=6 of them last time I checked (a few years ago) he flew to the Dearborn plant and helped make a '15 GT500...it has zero kms on it...it was flat-decked right out of the plant to his garage on rollers...
I don't get it either...he has 2 or 3 like that....zero kms on rollers.....Man people who buy cars/motorcycle/guns and never use them gets my goat! I was just kidding with the paper bag thing.
Don't straight pipe far to raspy and farm truck sounding and lots highway drone I had bbk long tubes and bbk xpipe with borla ataks and it was to loud. I would do the same headers and xpipe but quieter axle backs. The cars and bikes were built to drive. I guess I get the idea of keeping something like that for the investment, but dang, it makes my heart hurt a little to not seem them used for the purpose they were built. Here is baby dolls 18, Performance Package 1. The price was just a bit lower than the GT350. This 10 speed auto is no joke, much faster than her 15 manual. Track mode is a blast. I would love to lose the silencers and straight pipe it.

They're supercharged with over 500hp, pretty serious ponies...I know the GT500 tops out at 186mph, not sure about the GT350...I think they have the same top speed...Driving back Saturday night from the Bay Area a late model mustang and I hit it a couple times from around 75 mph. The first time I really stomped him and thought maybe he missed a shift or? We only got to around 120 or so. A mile or so later he came back along side and this time I could really hear him, (really) not so before. We hit it and again I jumped ahead, shifted into 4th and was still pulling and then into 5th and as I reached redline ready for 6th he came steadily up on me and passed with aplomb! As he passed and my headlights lit up the side I could see GT350 on the lower side. Can’t really say what speed we reached but my Speedo was backing away from the 140 range when I let off. Could it have had a SC too or NOS? When he went by he kept walking away and although I was still gaining speed, I wasn’t gaining on him. His power to weight ratio has to be better than my heavy azz Caddy but I didn’t expect to be passed so...efficiently!
