Several really good mirror threads with photos floating around.
A popular low-cost alternative is the GSXR mirrors. They come in black or faux carbon fiber.

I've seen cameras mounted aft with a small LCD screen mounted around the top clamp.
Eliminate mirrors? Just go with blockoffs then & done.

Bar End mirrors on the Busa are generally done with a universal mirror, than adapted to the bar end. Busa is a solid aluminum bar with a small diameter bolt hole.

Have you had any experience with the Pig Spotters as far as reducing wind experience? You would think they would be pretty popular with the people who do occaisional dragstrip/trackday but still want to maintain street legal. I know the mirrors are nothing but concave mirrored plastic that dont work all that great but hey- if you dont have your head on a swivel anyways your bound to run in to trouble sometime or other
