Gen I vs Gen II cases?

How interchangeable are Gen I Cases. I "had" a 1440 Gen II motor that sawed itself in half this weekend. Cases, crank, Block are all destroyed, and the head is badly damaged. I need to start piecing back together a 1440 or 1507 motor and wanted to know if my Gen II covers, sensors, and bottom oil cover will fit on a Gen I cases. I plan on using a Gen I block and Gen II crank along with my Gen II head. Everything else is negotiable.

Thanks John, I can start matching up parts for a new build. I think I can salvage the tyranny and 3 pistons.
