getting ready to buy a adams extended stock arm from a guy on phycobike
he had it on his gen 2 turbo bike he said i could purchase a break hanger bracket from exotic cycles that will make it fit with my 08 set up is thi a waste of time or will it work with no problems thanks in advance

How was his brake on there? Adams makes a tab but I dunno if its interchangeable between the gen1 and 2. Might guve them or a sponsor a call. Try sending schnitz a pm.

I think the spacers and bearings for the wheel and swingarm mount are diff too.

Will do ge sent me picks of it on his 08 but I realy want to make sure I will give them a call in am thanks
wish I could get more hits on this problem

I've made two or three threads and pm'd a few sponsors about making one work and its just hard to get a straight answer it seems.

Ryan was straight forward and gave me answers. Not a pm back saying hed get back to me and never did.

Does it have a tab welded for a brake arm? If so you might be able to go with the gen2 caliper and rotor with a gen1 style. Looks a little cleaner than the big bracket for the gen2 location.

The mcintosh are setup that way. They might be able to get you a bracket as well. And schnitz sells adams and mcintosh.

Thanks I will do a little more home work first :beerchug:

You should be able to see where the brake mounts in this picture. It doesn't look like it works that well but once its on there and you use the rear brake, it is pretty much set. With this setup you use your factory 08 parts. The tab bolts onto the caliper and rides against the top of the swingarm. This is the best pic that I currently have of the way it is setup from Adams. I would give them a call and see how much the tab is, that is all you are going to need from them
