Gen1 headlight assembly

The high beam loosened up and fell out of assembly and bulb burned rubber boot that smoked out and melted. So I have to replace assembly on mint 03. Suzuki sells oem. for $370. Ebay used <$100. or after market for 50 to $100. The question I have is on how good the after market ones are? fit, appearance etc. If anyone has ever bought one of these I would like to know your thoughts. The mounting screws came loose and fell out inside the headlight assembly which caused the heavy glass on the high beam to fall into the assembly- bulb pulled out and melted rubber rain seal and plastic housing and fogged lens within 5 min! bike has 40k
