Gen2 forks on a Gen1

Will they fit and whats involved any one know? Would like to have radial brakes up front!

someone on these boards has done it. I think the GenI upper tree will work but you need a GenII lower, and of course GenII wheel, axle, etc. do a search its on here some where.

I did it. You need the lower triple, steering damper, forks, fender, brake calipers, brake rotors, wheel, axle and spacer from an 08. The post before me is the easiest way to do it. I picked up a complete front end off of a 08 Busa. Bolts right on.

All you have to do is pull the old stuff and bolt on the new stuff, more or less.
