Has anyone ever been there? Is it worth it?
It is 3 to 4 hrs from where i live. Would it be worth staying the night in ATL?
just want some input i am hoping to take my girl next weekend, ive been busting my rump working 2 jobs and side work, i think its time for a day off.
thanks

yea, but there are a lot of kids there. Coke plant is nice to. Take her to see the CNN building and the underground is a great place. and have a picnic at Piedmont Park. Will be a great time. Enjoy your day off!

I went the second or third year they were open, just to see the whale sharks. I loved it, but I love aquariums...it's a nice facility, but packed. A trip there on a weekday might be a better experience just to avoid the crowds...

Citypass.com. I did this last year. Best city tour I've ever done. The city pass not only saved me tons, it planned my trip.

Even tho its winter the botanical gardens are spectacular in the green houses.

pM me for my phone if you want me to give you all the details of our 4 day trip. I have hotel info, subway info and some great restaurants.

Research the cocacola museum. Its across the road. Very kid oriented. 4 hrs each place would make an incredible day

We have a new one in Charleston,, its great except for the parking lot full of rednecks wanting to go fishing

My dad works there as well of one of the people I work with who is a diver there, the place is incredible. I used to go there every month but have not had the chance to in quite awhile.

I highly recommend the behind the scenes tour. Absolutely incredible what it takes to run that place. You have never seen so much Instant Reef salt in your life.

My favorite two parts of it is the Ocean Explorer and the Coral reef rooms you can literally sit in them for hours. I have two coral reef tanks at home and would kill to have some of the coral they have in theirs.

You will not be disappointed if you go.

yea, tn aquarium in chattanooga. Closer to you would be ripleys aquarium in gatlinburg tn. I've only been in there for service calls so cant really say how good that one is but everyone says its cool.

Was in ATL last year visiting my sister, decided to bring my oldest boy with me for a father son weekend.. I purchased tickets for the Aquarium online before I arrived in Atlanta, the cost of admision was well worth it. Do yourself a favor and get your entry tickets ahead of time, it seems to be very crowded and they only let you in the Aqaurium according to specifc blocks of time.
I have attached some pictures I took of my son and some of the wonderful scenery of the Aquarium.
I plan to visit again with my entire family later this year when im back in Atlanta again.
