Hi All,
I recently ordered a taillight Intergrater on Ebay, since I was changing the oil this weekend and adding a handlebar riser "38mm", I thought I would just pull off all of the bodywork since I'm waiting for a few more goodies to arrive.....anyway my question is that after pulling off the rear tail assy it looks like if I'm carefull cutting the stock rear turn signals off I wouldn't need a rear fender eliminator, mo money, mo money, mo money

Just out of curiosity did you buy your Busa from Wayne @ Olathe Suzuki ?

If you trim your turn signals off you could still use your original spot for license plate and you could even trim that down to eliminate that fender below your plate.

subscribing... i am planning on wiring up my integrated signals this week and cutting the stock mud flap fender thing...

If you ever want to do any customizing to your BUSA give a shout to STEVE SMITHERS @ SMITHERS CUSTOMS in Olathe ,he is the one that did all my work and he knows his stuff when it comes to HAYABUSAS. His address is 513 Kansas City Road in Olathe. His website is www.Smitherscustoms.com. He and his wife Patty are really good people and they won't steer you wrong. Their phone is 913-768-8667

Hey That's great info, Thanks Big Time Ninja Killer AS far as other Mods right now I'm keeping things pretty basic, My reason for going with the Busa is I was looking for another bike that would be a good Sport touring platform after my ZX11 had done it's job. so right now I'm looking for my faring screens, I would like a little taller winsheild without screwing up the look of the bike...looking at the Tobin seat before spring. I did a ride to the Air Force Museum in Dayton Ohio earlier and I definetly would like to p/u some kind of throttle lock.
Hey TurboSN95 I havent received my kit yet and I'm sure it will be after XMAS before it gets here... I've been looking at economical soulutions (married with children)to doing something about the butt ugly tail section.

I am looking at either cutting the stock plastic piece like others on this site have done... or getting the Extreme Moto Graphics Design hugger that lets me use the stock tail light. We'll see what Santa brought me in the morning!

And your choice on the busa as a touring bike I think was a good choice. I have some used Corbin Beetle Bags on the way, and I plan on upgrading the passenger seat for the wife, for some decent trips. I think the Busa is a great choice for someone that wants a fast bike, that is also comfortable for trips.

Bravo22 I have a motorhead undertail you are welcome to have if you want and I have a clear alternatives relay and complete clear light with wiring that would work with that motorhead undertail.

I would look into a Zero Gravity or PUIG Double Bubble windscreen.

Bravo22, I just got my first Busa a couple weeks ago and that is exactly what I plan on doing to the rear section also, cut off the fender (shovel) flush to the flat section then remounting the license plate holder to that flat section at a nice 45 degree angle, will probably make an angle bracket out of .063" or .080" aluminum sheet to get the desired angle or just fabricate a whole new mounting bracket out of the aluminum, I also plan on blacking out (painting) the rear reflector (the one under the tail light) and then intergrating the turn signals into the tail light. I think this should give the bike a much cleaner look without getting into any extensive cutting of the rear section and as you said, save a few bucks too. Oredered my chrome chain guard last night, can't wait, Spyderracing $20.00 off any order, just type in Hayabusa in coupon/discount code section when ordering, discount only good till end of this year, found that on this site last nite, very cool site.
