getting close on a busa

Have been lurking for a wile now and getting pretty close.Anyone give me an idea on the maint. schd. for valve adjustments on an 04 busa first mileage and interval's after the first.Thinking on a black & purple my dealer has 2 blk&ppl 3 limited reds and 3 blu&sil help me decide on color.Thanks.

Can't answer the valve adjustment question, but welcome to the board!

Valves don't need adjusted on a busa.  Can't think of why at the moment.  There is a post somewhere that explains it. Good luck!

Maint. Schedule is as follows in miles

600,4000,7500,11000,15000

Tappet clearance is inspected at the 15k mile service.

just get the dealer to service the SOB you dont need to worry about it. I got my silver/blue for about 10k out the door with the first 4 services free

and a free helmet

As long as your getting a Busa the color really doesn't matter...I like the LE's for the black frame and swingarm...
