First time wrenching on this bike, very simple. Juli's 150F, needed new tires and fresh oil.

Had to rebuild the water pump on the 450R, the impeller shaft was ate up, replaced the water seal, oil seal, shaft, and impeller. Fresh oil and coolant, ready to hit the trails.

These things are a blast. One more season on these tires for my bike and then will have to have new. I love wrenching on my own bikes, makes me feel good knowing I did it myself. LOL, but I am thankful for youtube as well, great video on the water pump rebuild. Which, hey, by the way saves about 85.oo bucks for shop labor per hour.

The 150 is a nice looking little bike. I have been debating getting my son the R model when he starts running in the super mini class.

May be selling the 150F, she has her eye on a single seater Polaris Ace.

Started fiddling with my dirt bike today, too. Had to move it out of the back corner of the company shop to my garage, next to the 'Busa. Haven't even really looked at it for a couple of years - too busy. But now I have more time. No water pump issues here - it's strictly old school - 1983 Husqvarna WR430. Air cooled 2 stroke long travel desert bike. Needs new chain and sprockets and a rebuilt/replacement CDI. CDI is going to hurt; nothing on the old Huskys is cheap.
